Hartselle’s Christian band CAIN vies for Best New Artist award

Hartselle’s own Christian band CAIN was recently nominated for We Love Christian Music Awards’ Best New Artist of the Year.

Siblings Madison, Taylor and Logan Cain released their self-titled EP in March. Their song “Rise Up (Lazarus)” has more than 1 million views on YouTube and is No. 1 on Billboard’s Christian Adult Contemporary chart, where it has been for four weeks.

CAIN is up against Hope Darst, Hulvey, Brandon Lake and Zauntee for the award. Online voting is open through Jan. 29 at www.newreleasetoday.com/weloveawards.php
