County plans tree giveaway for Feb. 17

The annual Morgan County Tree Giveaway will be held Feb. 17 from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Morgan County Soil & Water Conservation District.  

A variety of trees will be available, including bald cypress, northern red oak, Shumard oak, overcup oak and select pines.  

There will be a limit of six trees per person.  

For more information, call 256-773-6541, extension 3, or email morgan@alconservationdistricts.org. The conservation district is located at 3120 Highway 36 W., in Hartselle.
