Habitat begins new build for county family

Habitat for Humanity of Morgan County will officially begin its newest home – for the Coker family – with a wall-raising event, and the public is invited to attend.

The event will take place at 606 Homeplace Ave. SE at 10 a.m. April 13.

“We invite you to attend a wall raising to change lives and build a better community where everyone has a safe, decent place to call home,” the nonprofit organization posted on Facebook. “Please make plans to celebrate and support the Coker family as they raise their first wall. Construction-friendly attire is encouraged.”
