Hartselle trio CAIN wins award for best breakout single
Hartselle siblings Madison, Taylor and Logan Cain, who make up the Christian band CAIN, won the K-Love Fan Breakout Single Award for their song “Rise Up (Lazarus)” this past Friday night during the award show.
“I didn’t actually prepare anything because I was not prepared to win this award,” Logan Cain said to the crowd at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville. “Thank you, wonderful people. We are K-Love babies. We would not be anywhere, let alone on this stage, without you. We give all glory and honor to Jesus, for whom and from whom all blessings flow.”
“A couple of years ago, we almost quit,” Madison Cain Johnson added. “I want to reiterate that when you give things to God, he makes something great.”
“We think Steven Curtis Chapman said it best; he said the love of God will take us far beyond our wildest dreams,” Taylor Cain Matz said. “This is the great adventure. Thank you, K-Love.”
CAIN released “Rise Up (Lazarus)” in March 2020. It topped the Christian music charts for seven weeks and has registered more than 30 million streams.
