MCSO swears in new patrol corporal

Sheriff Ron Puckett administers the oath of office to Deputy Austin Wiggington as the department’s newest corporal on patrol. Wiggington was the off-duty officer who helped rescue a man who had jumped off the Interstate 65 Bridge into the Tennessee River. The MCSO said his response in handling that situation is “one small glimpse into the dedication and professionalism Cpl. Wiggington is known for and will bring to his new role.”
