Police nab two for receiving stolen property

June 25 at about 1:30 a.m., Hartselle Police Lt. Alan McDearmond arrested Kimberleigh Ann Duffey, 30, of Toney and Chris Lavon Winn, 33, of Arab for receiving stolen property, first degree. They were each given a $5,000 bond.
McDearmond was contacted after officers stopped Duffey and Winn in a stolen vehicle. The vehicle was reported stolen to the Cullman County Sheriff’s Office June 22.
Both suspects are acquaintances of the owner of the vehicle, who lives on County Road 1807 in Arab, according to the HPD.
