Patillo Street repaving remains four to six weeks away

A section of Patillo Street remains closed July 29 after hot mix patching was completed to fix some of the rougher areas created by the sewer work done earlier this summer. The temporary solution will make the road more travelable until the entire road can be repaved, according to Hartselle Utilities’ Daxton Maze. Mayor Randy Garrison said the city is waiting on the paver to begin the project, which has been pushed several times. Garrison said he hopes the project will begin in the next four to six weeks.
