Priceville plans Christmas festival

Priceville’s second annual Christmas in the Park will be held at Veterans Park Dec. 11.  

The Merry Christmas Market will open at the tennis courts at 4:30 p.m., giving patrons a place to do some Christmas shopping.  

At 5:30 p.m., hot chocolate and “reindeer food” will be served at the playground and pavilion.  

A live nativity scene and tree trail scavenger hunt will be open around the walking trail. Letters to Santa can also be dropped off at the pavilion during this time.  

Christmas carols in front of the big tree will begin at 6 p.m., with the tree lighting taking place 6:30 p.m. At 6:45 p.m., holiday music begins in the west gazebo.  

Tree awards and raffle winners will be announced at the conclusion of the event at 8:15 p.m.
