Downtown Hartselle transforms into winter window wonderland

More than 20 locally owned businesses participated in a contest through the Hartselle Area Chamber of Commerce that helped transform Main Street into a winter window wonderland for the holiday season.

Holiday scenes were painted on windows and storefronts, decorated with eye-catching designs.

HACC administration and events director Jaime Hatcher said the HACC held this contest in an effort to highlight the gem that is the downtown historic district.

More than 1,500 votes chose the winners in the contest: Shoefisticated, first place; Downtown Southern Sass, second place; and Be Frizz, third place. Each winner will receive a monetary prize.
