Kentucky tornado response effort seeks donations

Morgan County CERT and Fredricks Outdoor have put together a Kentucky Tornado Response Effort, and donations are now being accepted to assist in the cause.
Donations will be accepted at Fredricks Outdoor, 1312 S. Bethel Road in Priceville. Volunteers will be driving them up to the affected area and delivering them to local community contacts in Kentucky as the trucks are filled.
“There are thousands of fellow Americans who have been impacted by this disaster just a couple of weeks before Christmas,” the organizations shared on Facebook. “Let’s come together and try to provide some comfort and relief where we can.
Crucially-needed items are:
- Women’s and men’s undergarments (new)
- Long dresses, for the area’s Pentecostal population
- Over-the-counter medications
- Peanut butter
- Batteries
- Gatorade
- Chapstick
- Gum
- Laundry baskets
- Duffle bags
- Canned/bottled drinks
- Gloves
- Toboggans
- Silverware
- Diapers
- Formula
- Wet wipes
- Baby blankets
- Hoodies
- Jackets
- Vitamins, including Quercetin 500mg, zinc, Vitamin C and Vitamin D3
- Headlamps
- Flashlights
