Two join MCSO SRO program

The Morgan County Sheriff’s Office has two new School Resource Officers in place.

Joel Baker joins after an extensive career with the Alabama state troopers, from which he retired as corporal. Jim Buchli recently retired as a lieutenant from the Decatur Police Department, where he led the SWAT team.

“We are fortunate to have their commitment to serving and their wealth of experience on our area campuses,” the MCSO wrote in a post on social media.
