Extension offers beekeeping workshop next month

The Morgan County Extension Office is working with the Lawrence County Beekeeping Association to host a Beginner Beekeeping Workshop Feb. 12. 

The workshop will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Morgan County Extension Office, located at 3120 Highway 36 in Hartselle.  

The course will cover everything a beginner needs to know to keep bees for the first year. Experienced beekeepers from the Tennessee Valley Beekeeping Association will serve as instructors.  

Registration is $25, and registration is required. Lunch and materials will be provided.
