Morgan County crash claims one life

Special to the Enquirer  

A single-vehicle crash this past week claimed the life of a Decatur man.  

The crash occurred at approximately 7:30 a.m. Jan. 21, according to authorities. 

Paul Laronge Bibb, 62, was fatally injured when the 2002 Ford Expedition he was driving left the roadway, overturned and struck a utility pole. Bibb was pronounced dead at the scene.  

The crash occurred on New Cut Road, approximately five miles west of Hartselle, in Morgan County. Nothing further is available as troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
