County plans annual tree giveaway

By Staff Reports

The annual Morgan County Tree Giveaway returns this week.

The giveaway will be held March 2 from 8 a.m. until noon at the Morgan County Soil and Water Conservation District, located at 3120 Highway 36 W., in Hartselle.

A variety of trees will be available, including bald cypress, northern red oak, Shumard oak, overcup oak and select pines.

There will be a limit of 10 trees per person.
