From the Editor
Inspiration is a funny thing. It comes and goes seemingly on a whim – and sometimes it hits you out of nowhere.
When I sit down to begin planning each issue of the magazine, I try to look for positive stories that uplift, encourage and inspire. That’s my hope for the stories in this issue of Hartselle Living.
Like Madison Clemmons, who is on our cover, I hope you dare to dream big and chase what fulfills you.
Like Cassie Beth Powell, I hope you find what makes you happy in life and spend the precious time you have soaking it in and spreading that happiness with others – whether that is finding an artistic outlet and sharing it with the world or conquering your fears.
Inspiration can also come via the star basketball player for the Lady Tigers who recently scored her 2000th career point. That’s pretty inspiring, if you ask me.
I’m often inspired by the amazing people in our community and the stories we get to tell in these pages of Hartselle Living. I’m honored I get to play a role in sharing those stories with you, our readers.
If you know of a particularly inspirational story that is begging to be told, please reach out to me.
I am always on the lookout for the next one.
Thanks for reading,
Rebekah Yancey
