Freshmen Tigers pick up two baseball wins in Tuscaloosa

The Hartselle Tigers’ freshmen baseball team traveled to Tuscaloosa this past weekend to open the season. They played a doubleheader against the Hillcrest-Tuscaloosa Patriots and the Chelsea Hornets.

The Tigers defeated Hillcrest in game one by an 8-3 score. Jace Meadows started the game and earned the victory.

They defeated Calera in game two, 5-2.
