I want to remind everyone that tickets are still being sold for the Morgan County Sherriff’s Posse fundraiser to raise money for the Special Needs Rodeo. Tickets are being sold on a Ruger gun, $5 for one ticket or $20 for five tickets. The drawing will be held April 15, and you do not have to be present to win. The gun can be picked up at Mike’s Gun and Pawn in Hartselle.
For ticket information, call 256-260-5335 or 256-642-1624. All help and support will be greatly appreciated.
West Corinth Baptist Church News
The members of West Corinth Baptist Church express their appreciation to Seth Kirkland for 11 happy years of ministry service.
West Corinth Baptist Church will be holding a Glow Egg Hunt and Glow Party April 15 at 6:30 p.m. Wear neon and bring a basket for hunting eggs. Kids will start in the sanctuary at 6:30 p.m. sharp for hunt instructions and then follow up with pizza and a Glow Party in the fellowship hall.
“The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it,” John 1:5. Kids will learn that Good Friday was dark, but Jesus overcame it and is the light.
The egg hunt is recommended for kindergarten age through sixth grade. It will be held inside the church.
Candy donations are appreciated and can be left in the bin outside of the church office.
