Hartselle man pleads guilty to sex charges

A Hartselle man pleaded guilty this past week to multiple sex charges he faced since his arrest in August 2020.  

Joshua Lee Wilson, 28, was arrested Aug. 29 after it was reported he had sexual intercourse with a female younger than 16 years of age. 

Sgt. Jason Wilbanks arrested Wilson on two counts of rape, two counts of sodomy, one count of incest, electronic solicitation of a child, and sexual abuse in the second degree.  

Wilson has been in the Morgan County Jail since his arrest in lieu of a $156,000 bond.
