Two vehicle crash claims life of Danville woman

A two-vehicle crash at approximately 4:45 p.m. May 23 has claimed the life of a Danville woman. Carolyn McDonald Dulaney, 67, was fatally injured when the 2008 Kia Sorento she was driving was struck and overturned by a 2017 Kia Soul, driven by Kenneth Edward Thompson, 23, of Danville. Dulaney, who was not using her seat belt, was pronounced deceased at the scene. Thompson was not injured. The crash occurred on Brown Road near Iron Man Road, approximately five miles north of Danville. Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
