Hartselle’s CAIN nominated for three Dove Awards

The Christian music trio CAIN, a sibling group originally from Hartselle, is in the running for three Dove Awards.

The band, which consists of Madison Cain Johnson, Taylor Cain Matz and Logan Cain, received nominations for Pop and Contemporary Album of the Year for “Rise Up,” Christmas/Special Event Album of the Year for “Wonderful” and Recorded Music Packaging of the Year for “Rise Up.”

Nominations were announced Wednesday morning. The awards ceremony is scheduled for Oct. 18 at Lipscomb University in Nashville. A broadcast of the show will air on TBN on Oct. 21 at 8 p.m.

Madison, Taylor and Logan are the children of Charley Cain and Shari Cain, pastors at Hartselle’s World Harvest Outreach.
