Volunteers, sponsors needed for Stars Over Hollywood prom

The Stars Over Hollywood Prom for children and adults with special needs will be held at Sparkman Civic Center Oct. 8 from 6-9 p.m. Organizers are currently searching for restaurants and businesses to help sponsor food tables. Finger foods such as sandwich trays, fruits, chicken nuggets, cookies, pizza and other type party foods that can be eaten without utensils are requested.  

Volunteers are also needed for the event. Volunteers will assist with entering and exiting limos, celebrating as the attendees walk the red carpet, serving food or assisting in the karaoke room or dance floor. The registration deadline to volunteer is Oct. 3.
