Sheriff’s Office offers basic firearm safety class

The Morgan County Sheriff’s Office will host a basic firearm safety class Oct. 20 at 6 p.m.  

The class will focus on safely handling a weapon, proper technique for shooting a weapon, getting familiar with a weapon and more. 

The class will be held at the Sparkman School gym located at 72 Plainview St. in Hartselle (off of Highway 36.) 

Additionally, attendees will be able to able to sign up to attend a safety course at the Morgan County Sheriff’s shooting range Oct. 22 at 9 a.m.
