Junior high students prepare for Veterans Day program
Special to the Enquirer
Students at Hartselle Junior High School are preparing for the annual Veterans Day celebration Nov. 9 at 10 a.m. Students are identifying veterans to honor in their family and in the community. These veterans will receive a personal invitation from the students; however, all veterans are invited to meet in the school library at 9 a.m. to visit with students. Greg Screws, a former HJHS student and WHNT news anchor said, “It is the best Veterans Day (program) in North Alabama. You don’t want to miss it.” Pictured from left to right are Iliana Shariett, Porter Kusta, Aiden Wright, Carrie McDaniel, Payton Clemons and Beau Black.
