HPD arrests Cullman woman on theft charges

Oct. 19, authorities arrested Amanda Leak, 36, of Cullman for burglary in the third degree. Her bond was set at $2,500. 

The arrest was the result of an investigation into Leak stealing merchandise from Wal-Mart on multiple occasions. Due to the fact that Leak was trespassed multiple times from the business and she returned to steal, she was charged with burglary in the third degree. Burglary in the third degree states a person must knowingly enter or remain unlawfully in an occupied building with the intent to commit a crime therein.
