Priceville exits volleyball state quarterfinals

BIRMINGHAM — The Priceville Lady Bulldogs, making just their second state tournament appearance in school history, fell 3-0 to Orange Beach in the quarterfinals.

Priceville’s lack of experience in the state tourney showed as they fell behind early in each of the first two sets in the 22-25, 16-25, 19-25 loss.

“Being here on the big stage got to us a little,” coach Emily Logan said.

Logan, who finished her first season as Priceville’s head coach, said that the state tournament appearance sets future expectations higher for her program.
