Local author reads to Hartselle children

Hartselle native Hesta Gurney shares her children’s book “The Chicken and the Eggplant” with students at Hartselle City Schools. The author attended F.E. Burleson Elementary School where her children and grandchildren attended, and where a great-grandchild is now a student. She has read her book to students at all three elementary schools in Hartselle and several in Morgan County.
