Live nativity scene returns to First Christian Dec. 7-10
By Staff Reports
Hartselle’s First Christian Church will hold its annual live nativity scene Dec. 7-10 from 6-7:30 p.m. nightly.
The event has been held every year since 2017. Church member Lou Ann Stephenson said she has enjoyed being involved organizing the event since its inaugural year.
“We love holding this event every year,” Stephenson said. “It represents the true meaning of Christmas and we see it as our gift to the community.
“Kids love to pet the lambs and the donkey – he’s very calm,” she added.
Stephenson said attendees can interact with the live portrayers and animals.
First Christian Church is located at 209 E. Main St., across from the Hartselle Fire Department station. Stephenson said there will be free parking for attendees available behind church building.
