This is a continuation of “If I Were You” but can be read as a stand-alone. It’s 1951 and the Sears Wish Book has been delivered to the house that Audrey Barrett and her son Bobby share with friends Eve Dawson and her son Harry. The boys are amazed at all the toys within its pages and have become totally obsessed with asking Santa for every item. Audrey and Eve are concerned that the boys have lost the true meaning of the season, so they set out to teach them about giving rather than receiving. In all the “teaching,” they didn’t expect to learn somethings themselves about forgiveness and love.

Her first night at her new home in London, Jess meets Alex. Alex, who has also just recently moved in and is starting a new career path of his own, takes Jess on walks to teach her about new city. Jess is a bit directionally challenged and could use all the she can get.
These two people are like ships passing in the night. They have started out as great friends and an attraction is brewing, but when one of them is wanting to test the waters, the other one has a fling with someone else. Will they ever get together?
