Hartselle man arrested on sex charges

Special to the Enquirer  

A Hartselle man was arrested and charged with sexual abuse charges of a minor.

Feb. 22, Jamey Dan Dobbins, 56, was arrested on a Grand Jury warrant for sex abuse of a child under under the age of 12. The charge is a Class B felony.

The warrant was the result of an investigation that began in 2022. Dobbins was booked into the Morgan County Jail.  

Authorities said Dobbins has since been released after satisfying the $10,000 bond requirement.
