Hartselle wrestler signs with Huntingdon

After signing with Huntingdon College last week, Hartselle senior Payton Roberts will continue his wrestling career. Roberts helped the Tigers to a third-place finish in the 6A Duals Championships this past season.

He finished his senior season 35-7 overall and a runner-up finish in the 6A State Championships – 152 lb weight class.

Huntingdon College wrestling is a part of the NCAA Division III. Matt Oliver directs the program. The Hawks program started in 2014. They are coming off an 11th-place finish at the NCAA Lower Midwest Regional.
