Feeding Families to hold health, wellness fair
By Staff Reports
Feeding Families of Alabama will hold a health and wellness fair for the community June 12 from 8 a.m. until noon.
The event will be held on the same day as the organization’s food pantry day when boxed groceries are given out to more than 250 people, according to Feeding Families director Edee Grun.
“We will have many health providers here, some will provide services, some will give out information on services and (provide) available resources for all things regarding a healthy, well and happy lifestyle,” Grun said.
The health fair is free and open to the public and not restricted by age or income, Grun added.
It will be held at Feeding Families of Alabama, located at Mt. Tabor Church, located at 373 Mount Tabor Rd., Hartselle.
