Deputies search for driver of stolen vehicle near Falkville

The Morgan County Sheriff’s Office held an extensive search this past week for the driver of a vehicle reported stolen near Falkville.

After the vehicle attempted to flee law enforcement, according to deputies, two of the three occupants fled on foot. Deputies said one was apprehended.

The driver, described as a slender white man in his 30s wearing a maroon shirt and ball cap, was being sought near the 1500 block of Mill Creek Road by the Sheriff’s Office, assisted by Hartselle and Falkville police.

The Sheriff’s Office requested residents in the area to report any sightings.

After the official search was cancelled Thursday afternoon, the MCSO said deputies would continue to patrol the area.
