Man arrested in Eva for drug trafficking

In the early morning hours of June 7, agents with the Morgan County Sheriff’s drug enforcement unit conducted an operation in Eva, making contact with Everett Eugene Sims. During the contact, Sims was found to be in possession of a quantity of methamphetamine more than 28 grams.

Everett Eugene Sims, 50 of Cullman, was arrested and charged with trafficking dangerous drugs. He was transported to and booked into the Morgan County Jail with bond set at $10,000.

Bond, if applicable, is set by the courts using the bond schedule passed by the state legislature.
