Pedestrian killed when struck by vehicle near Priceville

A pedestrian died over the weekend after being struck by a vehicle near Priceville, according to Decatur police. 

Mareya Dequece Hannah, 43, was apparently gathering items from the roadway in the 500 block of South Bethel Road, according to authorities when a vehicle hit him shortly before 9 p.m.  

Hannah was deceased and the driver was at the scene when emergency responders arrived, police said. An investigation is ongoing.
