Prep football picks: It’s finally time

After a long nine months, it’s finally time to return to the gridiron. The 2023 high school football kicks off for most teams on Friday night. All nine teams take the field in week zero, with a rivalry game headlining the schedule.

The prep football picks are a new feature for the high school football season. The Hartselle Enquirer’s sports writer Russell Frye along with Hartselle graduate Dakota Stewart and Priceville Bulldogs sports guru John Keahy will pick every county game each week.
