By Staff Reports
Coinciding with the 22nd anniversary of the terrorist attacks, church leaders and pastors will unite for a 9/11 Prayer Vigil Sept. 11 at 5 p.m.
The program, held in honor and memory of law enforcement officers, military personnel, first responders, the victims and their families, will take place at the Hartselle Tabernacle, located at 35 Tabernacle Rd., Hartselle.
The event, coordinated by George Hearring, is open to the public.
“The annual unity prayer vigil is about the glory of God and how good He is,” Hearring said. “We should do as scripture says: pray without ceasing.”
Any minister, preacher, evangelist, church choir or musician is invited to say a prayer or lead a song during the vigil. Call Hearring at 256-919-9194 for information.
