Priceville’s Wes Walker selected for World Power Showcase Home Run Derby
Priceville’s Wes Walker was recently selected for the 16th Annual World Power Showcase Home Run Derby and All-American/World Classic that will be held in Miami, Fla., at LoanDepot Park, home of the Miami Marlins.
Players are chosen based on their character, talent, coach/scout references and recent school and summer performances.
Walker will represent Alabama in the All-American Classic game, which will feature top amateur pitching and power-hitting prospects from all over the world.
The game highlights a three-day, all-encompassing major league experience for the attendees. The event includes an MLB Scout day in front of thirty MLB organizations, the home run derby and the All-American/World Classic game.
The three-day event will be Nov. 19-21.
