Prep football picks: Time for a region break
Week four saw Hartselle prevail in a matchup of talented 6A teams, while Austin and Decatur returned to the win column following consecutive losses. In week five, some teams step out of region for games, while others have a bye week. The game of the week will be between ranked 6A teams Hartselle and Oxford.
The prep football picks are a new high school football season feature. The Enquirer’s sports writer Russell Frye, along with Hartselle graduate Dakota Stewart and Priceville Bulldogs sports guru John Keahey, will pick every county game each week.
