Hartselle’s Goodwin commits to Carthage College

Hartselle’s Ja’kaleb Goodwin has committed to Carthage College to continue his playing career following graduation.

“I committed to Carthage due to the relationship formed with the coaches who remained in constant contact with me,” Goodwin said. “I have been able to form relationships with future teammates. I feel like this is the best fit for me and the best decision of my life.”

Goodwin is a four-year starter at cornerback for the Tigers.

Carthage College is located in Kenosha, Wis. They are a member of NCAA Division III and play in the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW). The Firebirds are coached by Dustin Hess.
