Bulldogs fall at home to Scottsboro
The Priceville Bulldogs found themselves in an early hole and couldn’t recover in a 56-21 loss to visiting 5A Scottsboro.
The Wildcats took an early 7-0 lead with a 12-yard touchdown run. Priceville answered with a Blitz Clemons 1-yard run to tie the game at 7-7.
Scottsboro reeled off 21 consecutive points before halftime to take a 28-7 lead. They added another touchdown after halftime to extend their lead to 35-7.
Clemons cut the lead to 35-14 with a 63-yard touchdown run, his longest run this season.

Clemons finished with 147 yards rushing and three touchdowns on 26 carries. Riley Wagg added 87 yards rushing on 10 carries, while Bronson Carroll had 40 yards on four carries.
Quarterback Jake England was 1-of-5 for 42 yards and an interception.
Priceville (3-3, 3-0) returns to region play this week when they travel to St. John Paul II (1-4, 1-2) on Thursday at Discovery Middle School.
