“From Paris, in Love
By Elodie Colliard
Recently divorced Riley Fletcher is ready to take her natural talent for public relations and create her own PR company. To get the company started, she reaches out to her previous co-worker Miles Clark and asks him to be her co-CEO. Miles is thrilled to work with Riley and start their own company. Especially after his own divorce and his sister moving away. They spend months starting the company and going through their no-compete clauses. Their first major client, a wine and spirits company, offers them an all-expense paid trip to Paris for the International Wine Festival. Miles and Riley would accompany the CEO as he meets with winery owners and come up with potential ad campaigns if the company decides to expand overseas. Going on this trip requires many things from Riley and Miles. First, they would be leaving their new company without its leaders on hand for several weeks. Two, Riley and Miles will be spending a lot of time together without their other employees as buffers. Three, they both fell in love with each other while creating their company and haven’t admitted it to themselves or each other. Four, Riley’s ex-husband is vindictive and will stop at nothing to sabotage Riley and her company.
