Blaze battled, contained: Multiple units respond to residential fire in Falkville

In the early morning hours of Oct. 12, members of the Falkville Fire and Rescue Department sprang into action after receiving a distress call to assist Ebenezer Fire and Rescue in combatting a residential fire. The report indicated smoke and flames emerging from a residence, prompting a swift response from emergency services.
Three engines from Falkville Fire rushed to the scene, joining forces with their counterparts from Ebenezer. Upon arrival, the first responders encountered Ebenezer Engine 1 already engaged in combating the active fire.
In a coordinated effort, the units executed an interior attack, contributing to fire suppression, search and rescue operations as well as salvage and overhaul efforts, according to a Facebook post by Falkville Fire and Rescue. Their combined efforts proved successful, with the fire ultimately extinguished and contained to one end of the structure.
No injuries were reported in the aftermath of the incident, the post said. The agencies involved in the operation included:
