By Staff Reports
As the holiday season approaches, Hartselle is gearing up for a celebration that promises to bring cheer and enchantment to the community. “Hartselle for the Holidays” is all set to kick off the merriment.
The magic begins this weekend with festivities spanning throughout the holiday season until the first weekend in January. Saturday from 5-8 p.m. and from 1-4 p.m. Sunday residents and visitors alike can take part in the “Historic Hartselle Holiday Hunt.”
The event invites the public to embark on a unique adventure through the heart of Hartselle. Participants can pick up a map from any of the participating businesses in the historic downtown area. These maps will feature pictures of various holiday-themed objects concealed within the windows of downtown stores.
The challenge is simple – find these hidden treasures and mark them on your map. Once you’ve uncovered all the hidden gems, drop your map into the designated dropbox located outside the chamber office for a chance to win exciting prizes. Detailed rules and instructions are included on the map, ensuring everyone has a fair shot at winning. To participate in this thrilling adventure, there is a fee of $25.
Windows Wonderland
Can you imagine driving through a town where every window is adorned with dazzling holiday decor? Hartselle’s “Windows Wonderland” makes this a reality. The event features a festive decoration contest where businesses transform their storefronts into winter wonderlands.
Judging for the contest begins on Nov. 13, and this year’s theme is “Ugly Christmas Sweater.” So, be prepared to be mesmerized as you park your car and take a leisurely stroll through downtown Hartselle to admire the enchanting displays that are sure to fill your heart with holiday spirit.
