Pedestrian injured in Walmart parking lot, airlifted to hospital

Pedestrian injured in Walmart parking lot, airlifted to hospital

The Walmart parking lot in Hartselle was closed Monday afternoon after a vehicle struck two pedestrians.  

Capt. Alan McDearmond with the Hartselle Police Department said the incident occurred shortly after 1 p.m.  

One person was injured and airlifted to an area hospital. Their condition was unknown at press time.  

The second person was uninjured and not transported from the scene, according to McDearmond.
