Tigers wrestling competes in 44th Huntsville Invitational

The Hartselle Tigers’ wrestling team opened their season at the 44th Huntsville Invitational. The Tigers finished 11th out of 26 teams and were the second-highest-scoring 6A team.

Gage Ownby and Jackson Schutt led the Tigers with third-place finishes, while Garrett Willingham finished fourth. The three combined for 159 of the Tigers 216 total points.

The team will return to the mat on Dec. 7 at Sparkman and then on Dec. 20 at Homewood for the Patriot Scramble.
