One in hospital after train collision

One person was airlifted to Huntsville Hospital after their vehicle collided with a train at the Main Street crossing last week, said Hartselle Police Chief Justin Barley. 

Barley said the vehicle apparently ran through Alabama 36/Main Street crossing guard Dec. 22 at 12:41 a.m. No one on the train was injured. 

The chief said the incident is under investigation, but alcohol could have been a factor.
