Collaboration remains a cornerstone for Hartselle City Schools

Hartselle City Schools
As we embark on the new calendar year, I am pleased to share exciting updates regarding our academic, arts and athletics programs.
Academically, we are committed to fostering a dynamic learning environment. Our dedicated educators have curated a curriculum that combines traditional knowledge with innovative teaching methods, ensuring a well-rounded education for every student. Our teachers are in tune with many diagnostic tools that give a true picture of the student achievement levels. We have recently dedicated a large amount of our instruction budget to provide teachers with tools that enhance this process.
In the realm of arts, we celebrate creativity and self-expression. This year, our students will continue to have opportunities to participate in various artistic endeavors, from visual arts to performing arts, nurturing their talents and cultivating a vibrant arts community within our schools. For example, our Hartselle High School Team competed at the State Trumbauer Festival in December at UNA after being named “Best in Show” at the regional competition. They continue to do an outstanding job with every performance.
Athletics continue to be a cornerstone of our school spirit. We are investing in our sports programs to provide comprehensive training and support for our student-athletes. Through teamwork and dedication, we aim to achieve new heights in both individual and team accomplishments. The sports teams in Hartselle continue to compete at high levels in all sports with continued preparation being provided by our feeder programs.
Collaboration between academics, arts and athletics remains a priority, as we recognize the holistic development of our students. We encourage parents and guardians to actively engage with their children’s educational journey, supporting their academic pursuits, artistic endeavors and athletic achievements.
Thank you for your continued partnership in creating a thriving educational community. Together, we look forward to a year of growth, achievement and success.
