How did you two meet?
We met when I began visiting and later became a member at the same church he and his family attended. But the more fun answer is, he dated my best friend his freshman year of high school. It was however on a Monday evening at a church devotional in February 2021 that our story officially began. We grew a friendship over the next few months, had a few setbacks, but eventually realized that there was something undeniable there and started dating a little less than a year later. We’d been dancing around each other in the same friend group for years, but after we started dating, we knew very early on that we would get married one day.
The proposal:
He proposed in my back yard on December 17, 2022 with a cookie cake that said “Please Say Yes!” mirroring him asking me to be his girlfriend with a cookie cake a year prior. Both our families were there, and his mom took pictures. It was just perfect!
Favorite wedding moments:
We decided to see each other the first time as I came down the aisle. We both shed a few tears. It was a truly special moment! Next would be the photos captured by stepping outside in the Spring sunshine and taking some photos surrounded by nature.
