How You Met:
Hannah and Dustin have a mutual friend Cheyenne Crowe. Dustin had messaged Cheyenne
asking for Hannah’s number. After a little persuasion Hannah decided to give Dustin a chance.
Dustin reached out to Hannah by text while he was home from Auburn picking cotton on his
family farm. Hannah was camping with family when she received the text. Dustin and Hannah text and
snapchatted for about a week because he was in Auburn at school, and she was here in
Hartselle. He came home for Thanksgiving break and invited her to his brother’s basketball
game in Danville. Being the gentleman he is, he drove to Hartselle to pick her up and meet her
mom and dad. Then they went to Danville to the basketball game, and she of course got to
meet all of his family. They hit it off from the start.
The proposal:
We had talked about marriage and looked at rings, but it was all a surprise.
Dustin wanted to show Hannah the spot of land where they had talked about building their future home. Dustin was rushing around to go before the rain. When the couple arrived at the spot of
land and walked over it, Dustin pointed out where everything would go. The grass was
knee high so that Hannah was more worried about stepping on something. When they started back to the truck due to the incoming rain Dustin was on one knee and asked Hannah to marry him.
Favorite wedding details: Hannah said her favorite details were going shopping with her mom, sister, niece and Dustin’s mom to find her dress.
