Woman killed in Somerville house fire identified

The 95-year-old woman who died Monday morning in a house fire in Somerville was identified by the Morgan County coroner as Elizabeth Ann Maxwell.

Coroner Jeff Chunn said the call for first responders came in at around 11:27 a.m.

Multiple agencies responded to the fire in the 4800 block of Alabama 36, according to the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office.
